Privacy Policy

NestPlay (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application *NestPlay* and its subscription services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address or basic profile details (if required for subscription management).
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app usage data, and crash logs.
  • Subscription Information: Details related to your subscription purchase, including receipts and transaction history provided by Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services.
  • Manage subscriptions and payments through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
  • Enable third-party login (Apple Login and Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication).
  • Monitor and fix crashes using Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Improve app performance and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Subscription and Payments

  • NestPlay offers monthly subscription plans.
  • Payments are processed securely by Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
  • Refunds are handled strictly in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies.

We do not directly process or store your payment information. Instead, we use RevenueCat, a trusted subscription management platform, to securely handle subscription receipts and entitlements.

4. Third-Party Services

NestPlay uses the following third-party services:

  • YouTube API Services – searching for videos and reading information about them. See section 5 below.
  • RevenueCat – subscription management (purchase validation, entitlements, synchronization).
  • Firebase Authentication – used only for third-party login (Apple Login and Google Sign-In).
  • Firebase Crashlytics – used only for crash reporting and debugging.
  • Apple App Store & Google Play – handle payments and billing.

5. YouTube API Services

NestPlay uses YouTube API Services to let you search for videos and to read information about them, such as the title, channel, length, description, spoken language, view count, and whether the uploader marked the video as made for kids. We use that information to help you decide which videos to approve for your child, and to leave out material that does not suit them.

NestPlay only reads from YouTube. It never uploads, comments, rates, subscribes, or changes anything on your YouTube account on your behalf.

By using NestPlay you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information that YouTube and Google collect is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke NestPlay's access to your data at any time through the Google security settings page.

We keep information obtained from YouTube API Services for no longer than 30 days, after which it is deleted or refreshed from the API. Videos you have approved are stored as the video identifier and the details needed to show the video to your child, and those details are refreshed on the same schedule.

6. User Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal information.
  • Request that we limit or stop processing your data.
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable).

7. Children’s Privacy

NestPlay is not directed at children under the age of 13. Children may use NestPlay only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without consent, we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and will take effect immediately upon posting.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NestPlay mobile application (“App”) and related services provided by NestPlay (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using NestPlay, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Scope of Use

  • NestPlay may be used by individuals of all ages. Children may use NestPlay only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • By using NestPlay, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms and that you agree to comply with them.

2. Subscription and Payments

  • NestPlay offers monthly subscription plans.
  • All payments are handled exclusively through the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).
  • Refunds, cancellations, and billing matters are governed by the policies of the respective platform (Apple or Google). NestPlay does not provide direct refunds.

3. User Conduct

When using NestPlay, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or damage the App, its servers, or networks.
  • Use the App in any unlawful manner or in violation of these Terms.

4. YouTube API Services

NestPlay uses YouTube API Services to let you search for videos and to play the videos you have approved. By using NestPlay, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos are played in YouTube's own embedded player, and NestPlay does not host or change YouTube content. Information that YouTube and Google collect is handled under the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content in NestPlay, including text, graphics, logos, images, design, and software, is the exclusive property of NestPlay and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • NestPlay does not provide user-generated content (UGC) features; therefore, you may not upload, post, or submit content within the App.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • NestPlay is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • NestPlay shall not be held responsible for any issues, interruptions, or failures caused by third-party services, including but not limited to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, or Crashlytics.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, NestPlay disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to NestPlay at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to our services or other users.
  • Discontinue or modify the App at any time without liability to you.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan.

  • Taiwan shall serve as the primary governing law and jurisdiction for all disputes.
  • If users are located overseas, they acknowledge and agree that NestPlay’s Terms remain governed primarily under Taiwan law, and any disputes shall still be subject to Taiwan jurisdiction.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App. Continued use of NestPlay after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
